It is with a broken heart that I inform you that Marlene Andersen Livingston passed away. We were the best of friends since we met at OPRF. She met her husband at my wedding. We were always having fun and she always made us laugh. Marlene was fortunate and was able to be a homemaker and did not have to work. She lived for her family and close friends. It was difficult when they moved to Las Vegas but never harmed our friendship. 'y friend will be deeply missed by her family as well as mine and many nieces and nephews. We weren't blood relatives but we chose to be family.

James Demos
Marlene was in our Longfellow homeroom ,Mr. Edwards'. and was always shy and reserved. At one of the reunious (sorry can't remember which one they have become blurred together) she came up to me to say "Hi Jim, it's Marlene" all friendly and happy to see me. It was so nice to see her that way. I'll remember her like that until we meet again.

I, too, remember Marlene from Longfellow. We were in the same class from second grade, when we moved to Oak Park, until eighth grade. I was saddened to hear of her passing and send prayers and condolences to her family at this time. We are losing too many of us...

I, too, remember Marlene from Longfellow School. Marlene did not make new friends easily but everyone liked her. She was sweet and kind to everyone, Jim Demos, Tim Keefe, Nancy Nelson and I often walked home together. In those days we walked home twice a day since everyone walked home for lunch and then back to school for the rest of the school day. Those were the good old days.
We will not forget Marlene.
