I knew Tom from 2nd grade at Beye and from sunday school. He was always great at drawing, especially dinosaurs. Everyone took piano lessons from his mother, and she would have annual recitals at the first Congregational church. He was a really nice guy.
I remember Tom as a very sweet, smart guy who was my "special" dancing partner at Miss Rose's classes. I was the second tallest girl in my eight grade class and Tom was a tall boy, so we were put together on a regular , but awkwardly silent, basis.
