So sorry to hear this. Karen was a good friend from kindergarten on through high school. I lost touch with her after high school and always wondered where she was. I was hoping she would join this website. Dos anyone know any more about her?
I knew Karen more when we were at Lincoln School. She was a kind and considerate person. I knew her family well and they were very open to me as a friend. I actually went out and golfed with her father. I am sorry for the loss to her family. May she rest in peace.
I met Karen during my senior year at OPRF after transferring from Elmwood Park High School. We double-dated a few times going out dancing to a place I think was called Melody Mill. It was mostly designed for older folks but she loved the old music more than rock & roll. I remember her favorite song was "Heart of my Heart." I wonder if she danced to that song when she married Bob. Fond memories. My thoughts are with her today. She was a lovely soul.
