So sad to hear this news. Jim was a good friend and great guy. We both ran track but I could never keep up to him. He was always fun to be around.

I'm very saddend  by the news of Jim Funk passing. He was a close friend of mine as we ran sprints and relays on the OPRF track team. We, along with John Muccianti and Orv Wilken and or Greg Hodges won many relays together.  He was also a lunch partner. Jim was always with a smile and quick to laugh. When I think back to my HS days I remember him quite fondly.
