Announcement of the death of William L. Huber,Jr. on May 7th,2019. William battled Alzheimer's disease for 9 years. He was 75 years. He died peacefully in the Residence facility in Elk Grove, Illinois.
I started school at Horace Mann in first grade. Billy, as he was known then, had to pass my house to get to school. Sometimes we walked together. I remember him as being a little shy, never bullying and quite bright. We didn't have any classes together at OPRF High, but he always would say hello when we saw each other. He was truly a nice person and I am so sorry he had to spend his last years with Alzheimers! Marlene Blumenthal Mann
I am saddened to hear of another classmates passing . I knew Bill from Horace Mann , he was a really nice friendly guy. So sorry, as Marlene said to have had to spend his last days with Altzheimers. My condolences to his family.
