William C. Lynch, 74, of Elgin passed away on October 17, 2018 in his home, surrounded by family. He was born on July 19, 1944 in Chicago, IL the son of William and Yvonne (Perrin) Lynch, William was a Veteran, and served in the US Marine Corps. Survivors include his four children: Lori Itrich, Sonja Lynch, Joy (Patrick) Knoch, William Lynch; six grandchildren: Fallon, Mikala, Jackson, Jaden, Rowdy, and Joey; two sisters, along with many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, along with a brother and sister. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 4-8:00 PM, at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin with memorial service and Military Honors presentation starting at 7:00 PM.
