Sue moved to Oak Park in Jr HIgh and we were friends from then on. She and Ron lived in Florida for many years and most of her children are there and were all with her. She had dementia but was having a great day on her birthday just a little over a month ago. We had a great talk that day and I am grateful for that. Her children have solace in knowing she is back with their dad who passed a few years ago. Because of Covid everything is delayed down there so they will have to have services next month.
Sue was vey special and fun to be around! Michelle (Mike), Sue and I did a lot together during high school, as I remember: including skipping school a time or two! Sue loved my Siamese cats. One day she decided she wanted a kitten. The kitten's name was "Terrmina." Terrmina had 5 kittens sired by my "Van" - Chocolate Point Siamese show cat. Sue let me have one of the kittens back - which I showed for several years. Sue never knew that Terrmina's daughter , " Gidgetta" ( very rare extreme Chocolate Point Siamese became a very famous cat in the "Show World"- (Grand Champion, and Best in the Nation! ) as I lost track of Sue many years ago. I'm so glad that Mike found Sue and was able to talk to her. So sorry to know that she had dementia. I also knew Ron. Hard to believe they are both gone! I will always remember Sue and Ron. A special thank you to Sue for allowing me to have that little kitten back! I wish that I could have told her this in person! Truely, sending my condolences to Sue's family.
