We had so many great memories like pajama parties, football games, eating pizza at Jim and Pete's.  We will miss you Donna.

Donna, we became best friends the last semester of senior year because we happened to like best buddies Bob Reynolds (your guy) and John Livingston (mine), and double-dated. Our friendship became solid in the summer of 1963 when we decided to work and room together in a summer resort in Michigan.

Although we lived miles and sometimes oceans apart, you in Paris, New York City, and Chicago, I winding up in the Pacific Northwest, we always made time to be together. You were my son's godmother and my daughter's honorary godmother. They loved you as much as I did and called you their Fairy Godmother. You'd always been intrigued by the Northwest, and in October 2002 you moved to Seattle. You were recuperating from breast cancer and we hoped you'd beaten it - you didn't, and I miss you like crazy. You were a gift in our lives.
