Barb and I were good friends throughout high school. We enjoyed riding horses on weekends and during the summer. We laughed a lot and had wonderful memories.
I had a lot of fun with Barb. I remember she lived in a terrific house with a giant fish tank in the entry hall that covered a wall. I also remember one day when we were in gym class at River Forest Jr. High and she told me she had Mickey (her horse) shod over the weekend. I was horrified. I thought she said she had him shot! We laughed about that one for days. I send good thoughts to those she left behind. Bless you, Barb.
