Jack Shea was one of my best friends in high school. We were on the swim team together for many years and were also members of the O.P.R.F. "Beer Leaders Club" which was started by a mutual friend, Alan Slate. Together with Al, Phil Sheehan, Dennis Clarke, Jim Nelson, Skip Young, Bill McManigal, Dan Kenny and a bunch of other guys and girls we had a wonderful time growing up.
Jack was the only one of my friends who came to our wedding 44 years ago in Houston, Texas dispite his physical condition at the time, for which I am forever grateful.
We all miss those good times, but as they say: "Life goes on with or without you"
