Jo Anna Shimon Dunn

For 57 years, we knew and understood each other perfectly; shared people and things loved and not, pain and laughter, fears and frustrations...and the unique and exquisite joys of the mad. Howling against injustice and stupidity, Kathy was a guided missile of intense intelligence, curiosity, passion and caring.  Probably too honest for her own good, she tirelessly pursued the thankless task of making sense of life and living. All we can do is try our best with whatever life has thrown at us, and Kathy never stopped trying. Her humor and spirit are already sorely and painfully missed.....but thank you, Lord, for ending her pain.
